True Blood – Season 6

One of my favorite TV shows is HBO’s True Blood. I have watched all of the seasons and own all of the current ones that are out on DVD or Blu-Ray. I’ve read all of the books that the TV series are based on, and I can actually appreciate that the show has taken a very different storyline. I have a poster of Eric in my bedroom, and I am not ashamed about that one bit. I also wear quite a few different True Blood shirts as part of my normal attire. I’m a True Blood addict.

The premiere of True Blood Season 6 starts in about an hour on HBO. Are you watching it? Drinking True Blood, wine, or some other tasty beverage? Is this your favorite time of year because the show has returned, too?

Weekend Update

I don’t usually post “life” updates, but I thought it would be good to post what is going on with me lately and why I haven’t been able to blog often. As some of you may remember, there was a huge amount of water damage at my home, so things have been crazy with the renovations now that the contractor is actually working on it.

My bedroom is finally finished, so this weekend has been the first time I’ve actually been able to sleep in my new bed in my bedroom. My old mattress was ruined from the water issue. I gotta say that I am loving this new mattress though – so plush and cozy!

I’m still trying to find boxes and bins and random things that my stuff was moved to though, and one of those things is a box with books I need to read and review. Luckily, I had a large pile of books to read while things have been going on, but it isn’t easy reading with hammering and pounding going on either. I’ll post some pictures once things are finished. Everywhere is in a limbo area with nothing being completely done yet (it is driving me insane too).

I really want a new coffeemaker. The old one is taking around 18-20 minutes to brew one pot of coffee, which in a house full of coffee drinkers is just too long. I’m thinking of getting this Bunn coffeemaker. Does anyone have one? It is a bit pricey, so I want to make sure it is good before getting it.

Tonight is a new episode of True Blood so you know I’m highly excited I actually get to watch it on my nice TV finally. Seeing Eric Northman in anything less than 720 pixels is just wrong. LoL The show has veered so far off from the books, I don’t know what is coming next, and I love it. It is two completely different stories now, but that is okay with me because the characters are fangtastic and I can't get enough. Have you been watching this season? What do you think of it so far?

True Blood – Season 5 – #WaitingSucks

My favorite show on TV is True Blood. It is a long time in-between new seasons because it is an HBO series. This also means, it only has around 13 episodes each season, which again is just not enough for fans of the series. I love it though so really, no complaints here.

I’ve watched the teaser trailers and have seen the previews on HBO before Game of Thrones (another big favorite of mine). Season 5 of True Blood starts on June 10, 2012 and from the looks of it, it won’t be much like the book series at all. It looks like there are a ton of new characters and the storyline has gone so far off track it is really like a whole different story. I’m definitely “Team Eric” though (Alexander Skarsgard is so drop dead gorgeous!), so I really hope that he and Sookie Stackhouse at least end up together in this version of the series.

I’ll definitely start trying to most more again about both True Blood and Game of Thrones. After my last post about doing that, there was the water explosion in the house which we still haven’t gotten all fixed yet. It is definitely making things harder to do, including blogging. The new season of True Blood is finally less than a month away! I really cannot wait. This is my favorite series on TV and I can’t wait to see more of Alexander Skarsgard (Eric Northman on the show).

Do any of you know if you can use the HBOGO on the PC? I don’t have an iPad or an iPhone and if they let you see True Blood Season 4 episodes a week early, I really want to be able to (if you can also play it on the PC). Please let me know if you happen to use this too and know the answer.

True Blood’s Alexander Skarsgard - Love Scenes and GQ Cover

My favorite actor and vampire in “True Blood” is Alexander Skarsgard. Love scenes with him and Sookie are sure to be hot this season, or well I hope so anyways!

It is about time she ditches Bill, and I for one cannot wait until she starts hooking up with Eric (the vampire Alexander plays in the series). Yes, I know Anna (who plays Sookie) is married to Stephen Moyer (who plays Bill) in real life. However, in the series I am really rooting for Sookie and Eric.

As Alex told GQ “It’s really clear to Steve and to everybody else what the deal is — which is that Anna is like a sister to me . . . Those love scenes take quite a bit of acting, actually. A lot of acting.”

Sounds like Season Four of True Blood is going to be very steamy with Alexandar Skarsgard love scenes with Anna!

True Blood: Season 4 – Waiting Sucks - Eric

My favorite show on TV is True Blood and Season 4 looks like it is going to be my favorite one yet.


My favorite book in the Sookie Stackhouse series (what the show is based on) is “Dead to the World.” This is the one where Sookie finds Eric walking or running along the road in his underwear. Well, if you have taken a peak at the True Blood Season 4 promo on HBO, you will see sneak-peaks of this. Unfortunately, Alexander Skarsgard in his underwear is not what you will see. He is still shirtless though, and well I really can’t complain about that!

I can’t wait until this season premieres! Which if you were wondering, starts on June 26 at 9PM EST on HBO. If I didn’t get HBO, I would seriously order it for just the months True Blood is on… it is worth it!

New Layout!



As I brought up before, I paid for a commission done through Deviant Art for the geisha girl you see above. This fabulous artist that created it can be found at: http://www.ooangeliusoo.deviantart.com/ and offers great art for really affordable prices.

I turned the picture with the girl into the header I have now and adjusted the blogger template and such to go with it. I’ll try to add in some more things to go with it soon. I’m just happy it is how it is right now. I will be tweaking it and adding things soon though.


Finding My Inner Artist (Again)
While reviewing The Artist Within, I’ve started to bring out my inner artist again, which is fun and rejuvenating. I can’t wait to share this review with you (probably this week) and also share with you one of my paintings!

I’ve seen him look hotter, this is a paparazzi shot after all. I think it is cute that Alexander Skarsgard’s girlfriend is Kate Bosworth. Maybe he gets her to eat. I did read that he took her home to meet the family and friends, so looks like it is pretty serious!

True Blood – Minisode 1: Fangtasia Tryouts!

Alexander Skarsgard was in Zoolander!

Zoolander is one of my favorite movies of all time.

I love it. I’ve seen it probably more times than Twilight (yeah, I know...). My ex-bestfriend and ex-roommate and I used to go to the movie theater in our apartment complex and watch it at least every other week, if not once a week. It was a great comedic relief to college and boys.

I remember thinking that blond model was pretty hot, but never really looking into it further – until I was watching it last night and guess who I notice it is?!?

He wasn’t in the movie for very long, he dies in a freak gas explosion at the gas station after drinking orange mocha frappachinos. So sad.

He doesn’t really die though because we all know he comes back to life as Eric Northman on True Blood! Yeah, okay I had to throw that in there… he is so much hotter as a vampire.

Ah, I can’t wait for the next season of True Blood to see (much more of) Alexander Skarsgard. Love saying his name too. So sexy.

What Kind of Woman Does Alexander Skarsgard Want?

Women (and some men) that are fans of True Blood and/or Alexander Skarsgard in general are quite happy that he is still single. At least we can dream and hope that maybe one day he’ll notice us at some freak unexpected encounter, right?

In a recent issue of UK Glamour Magazine, he shares his dating checklist.

• Apparently, he doesn’t mind dating older or younger women (he is 33). He would however, like to find someone who is within 10 years of age of himself (but 15 years might be okay too).

• He values trust because without that, no relationship can work.

• He likes to be thoughtful and show a woman how much he cares about her. He realizes that money doesn’t equal love though!

• He doesn’t really need all the fancy clothes and lots of makeup on his woman either. He says, “I don’t go for really dressy women. My family has a small cottage in the middle of nowhere in Sweden. It has no phone, TV or shower. You have to swim in the lake to wash. I love it. Taking a girl there is a good indicator of whether she’s right for me.”

Alexander Skarsgard plays the sexy vampire Eric Northman on HBO’s True Blood series. He says that while many fans have asked him to bite them, it isn’t something he would do in public. Can I ask for a private biting then? Hmm…

Kate Bosworth has recently been caught with Alex and the paparazzi think they may be dating. If this is true or not, well I don’t know. Whoever ends up taking the lucky role of the real Alexander Skarsgard’s girlfriend is one lucky lady!
