I’ve mentioned before that I’ve been sponsoring a child through Children International in Chile since 2004. Her name is Camila and she lives in central Chile but I’m not exactly sure towards which direction of where the 8.8 earthquake was strongest.
I’ve been praying that she and her family are okay. Unfortunately I probably won’t know for awhile if she is or not. I did write an e-mail asking to be updated as possible from that field office when they can. I will post on here if you want to be updated too when I found out something.
So, while we wait I ask those of you that do pray to please pray for her too. If you don’t pray, then please send out positive energy or something.

They wrote me back but basically said that they will let me know when they find out, if they can. If not to assume I guess that she is okay.
I'll write again in a few weeks to try again. I'm sure it it is quite chaotic down there right now.

How awful... I will pray too! it's so sad what's happening...
I read this when you posted, just didn't have the time to comment, I said a prayer too and I am hoping she is ok and you will hear something soon.
