On This Day in Christian History by Robert J. Morgan

Have a love for Christianity? How about history? How about a mixture of both? If so, then check out On This Day in Christian History by Robert J. Morgan. In this book, you will discover the historical events that happened on each day of the year in Christian history.

Book Description
Amazing stories of faith from twenty centuries of church history.

From the Roman Empire to the Reformation, St. Valentine to St. Francis, Martin Luther to Billy Graham, On this Day introduces readers to a parade of preachers, popes, martyrs, heroes, and saints from 2,000 years of Christianity.

This introduction to 365 of the most interesting men and women of faith brings a year's worth of inspiration and spiritual challenge and offers an enjoyable glimpse into church history. Each day includes a related Scripture reading and a simple, colorful story about history-making events in the lives of people who loved God wholeheartedly.

My Thoughts
Robert J. Morgan does a very good job giving the reader a great story to correspond with each day out of the year. Not all of the stories included are about good things that happened either, actually, many aren’t. It is a real account of the things that have happened throughout Christianity presented for the reader to have a better understanding of Christian history.

I actually quite like how the stories were laid out, and enjoyed reading many of them. It is an easy read for someone and if you read even just one for the day, it would be something to look forward to every day of the year.

I recommend this book for all those who like to read Christian books, and would also make a great present for someone that enjoys this type of a book.
