Peacock Wedding Dress

Check out this peacock wedding dress I came across today.

This beautiful dress was made from peacock feathers from a peacock farm in Linyi, which is in Northern China’s Shandong Province. It took 3,150 peacock feathers and two months to construct the dress. From what I read, it collected feathers from 200 male peacocks. Nothing was mentioned if the animals were harmed or not. Hopefully they are still alive and producing more feathers.

I think it is absolutely beautiful and a really unique wedding dress made of peacock feathers. I’ve never seen one like it before, and the woman is stunning in it. I just wonder what will happen with the dress after the wedding. Hopefully it isn’t just stuffed into a box and put into the back of her closet (which I’m sure is filled with other highly beautiful and exquisite items).

What do you think?

So pretty! Maybe she can donate it to be displayed somewhere. It would be a shame to sit in the closet forever!
