So You Think You Can Dance – Request

So You Think You Can Dance is one of my favorite summertime shows. I cannot dance, so I love seeing those who can. Okay, I can kind of dance. I used to be in ballet when I was in Kindergarten and I was in gymnastics and pom pom dance line for a few years too. Besides the point though because now I can’t dance.

I love their routines. Some of them are just so amazing. For instance, my favorite from last year I still remember. It was featuring the top couple and the winner and runner-up. Remember this one?

Simply amazing.

I think a really great routine can (and should) be done with The Fray’s “I Found You.” They played the song this season and had a nice intro to one of the season’s first episodes but it is just not enough for me. I want a routine to it! Mia Michaels would be preferable – if you are listening! :)

Here is what they did to the song so far for those interested...

True Blood: Season 2 – Episode 3 “Scratches”

This episode starts off with Bill driving Sookie and Jessica away from Jessica’s parents house after he glamoured them to not remembering they were there. Bill and Sookie get into a big fight and she gets out of the car and storms off into the woods.

Since I’ve read the books, I know that the creature that comes after her and slashes her back in the woods is the maenad – MaryAnn. It didn’t all play out quite like this in the books though, so who knows?

Bill takes Sookie to Fangtasia to get treatment for her back because his blood couldn’t cure her. That is where we meet Dr. Ludwig (who was also in the books a few times too). She helps Sookie but is unable to fully heal her after the poison is out so Sookie drinks more of Bill’s blood. Yum!

When she wakes up she finds herself at Fangtasia and in one of their red shirts. She sees the girl from the first season who she had to interrogate and who shot Lafayette this season. She hears her say in her head something about Lafayette being in the basement. Naturally, this infuriates Sookie and she just has to find a way to get him out of there!

Eric is actually in quite a few scenes lately. This makes me very happy! I think it will continue, or at least I hope so. Eric doesn’t want to let Lafayette leave, but he agrees to if Sookie goes to Dallas with him on the matter of the missing vampire. Bill naturally has to go along too and she gets $10,000. Not a bad deal at all!

Jessica leaves Bill’s house to go to Merlotte’s and meets Hoyt Fortenberry (Jason’s bestfriend). He didn’t realize she was a vampire at first, but he thinks it is cool and really likes her. I thought she was going to feed on him, but she doesn’t. I think they could make a really cute couple on the show – if one of them doesn’t die or something.

Jason is still at the weird church camp and is falling in with the lead people even more. I wonder how far they are going to take all of this?

Tara finally realizes that something is wrong with the “scene” at MaryAnn’s after a very rowdy party that almost turns into an alcoholic orgy. So, does this mean she will move in with Sookie now? I hope so! She needs another human around her after her Gran died.

The new girl that is working at Merlotte’s is shown at the end getting in to skinny dip with Sam – and we all see those familiar scratches that were on Sookie’s back on her back too.

No new episode next week, but the week after there is a new one! Who-oo!

True Blood: Season 2 – Episode 2 “Keep This Party Going”

This episode of True Blood starts off where it left off last week – Eric dripping with blood after he killed a human who committed crimes against vampires and Lafayette is watching him in the dungeon area. Eric is more concerned with blood in his hair – which is why Pam ends up cutting it for him this season.

Bill and Sookie have makeup sex and talk about things in their relationship that bother them.

Eric chats with Lafayette about what he can get out of him about his crimes against vampires (dealing V blood). However, he doesn’t know much and mentioning it might be Jason Stackhouse who killed the vampire doesn’t do Eric any good either (because he finds Sookie much too valuable to do anything to Jason right now). So, back to the dungeon he goes.

Speaking of Jason, he went to the Fellowship of the Sun camp. It is like some religious cult and I found it rather disturbing that adults (18-30 probably) are going to “camp.” He wins stuff and looks like he captures the eye of Mrs. Newly – the wife of the reverend and spokesman of the group (now that his father died). I find this whole storyline to be lame and awkward.

Jessica’s parents think she is kidnapped or ran away or something and are all over the news. Obviously they don’t know she was turned into a vampire. Sookie feels terrible about this because she thinks it was her fault. Which, really it was. Bill wouldn’t have killed Long Shadow if he wasn’t going to kill Sookie and then he wouldn’t have had to go to the vampire hearing and turn Jessica into a vampire.

Sookie takes Jessica to see her family – as long as she doesn’t let them see her. However, she is a new vampire and can’t control her impulses yet and she runs to their door. Her mom invites her in and she is happy to see them until her dad gets there (who used to abuse her) and now she wants revenge. Bill gets there and sends Sookie away so he can “fix” this. But, how will he “fix” it?

MaryAnn is tormenting Sam at his bar with all of her maenad qualities. Interesting storyline with her that I actually like seeing more of because she was actually in the book too.

Sookie asks Tara to move in with her, but Tara doesn’t give her an answer yet. She probably doesn’t want to leave MaryAnn’s yet because she has everything weirdly taken care of for her there and she doesn’t have to pay anything.

Eric asks Bill for Sookie’s help with a case in Dallas – out of respect. However, Bill objects and Eric of course doesn’t accept that as a correct response and walks away. He’ll do what he wants with or without Bill’s approval.

Lafayette finds a way to escape while the vampires are sleeping, but one of their minions ends up shooting him in the leg before he can get away. Poor Lafayette. Eric, Pam and Chow are not happy with him at all – will they eat him or turn him (as he asked them to do)?

*Sorry this post is late, I’ll do Episode 3 after the show or on Monday!*

G.H.O.U.L. Video

We’re entering a contest to go to an undisclosed location (that should be really good) to compete against other ghost hunting groups to win new equipment. Pretty cool huh?

Here is the video we put together to enter. It had to be 1 minute or less, and the volume is really low so make sure your speakers are up all the way if needed to hear it.

Flashback Friday – Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett, Michael Jackson

It has been said many times that things happen in threes. The past few days three of Hollywood’s biggest stars have passed away. In respect to them, I am doing my Flashback Friday on them.

Ed McMahon died at age 86 on Tuesday June 23, 2009. I’m not sure how he died, but I did read that his publicist said that he had a “multidue of health problems the last few months.”

He was best known for the “Tonight” show with Johnny Carson as his sidekick and his “Heeeeeeeeere’s Johnny!” for 30 years. I was too young to remember him from the “Tonight” show, but I do remember him very well from Star Search. I used to watch that show religiously and some of our greatest current talent came from there – think Jim Carrey, Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera, etc.

Farrah Fawcett very publicly announced she was dying of cancer. She never gave up and though and was an inspiration to everyone who either had cancer or knows someone who has. She died yesterday at age 62 from a three year battle of cancer

Her most famous roles included the hit TV series in the 1970s – Charlie’s Angels and The Six Million Dollar Man. She earned an emmy nomination for her role in a TV movie called The Burning Bed. She also appeared in The Apostle, Dr. T and the Women, Spin City, and Ally McBeal just to name a few.

Her hairstyle named the “Farrah” was copied by hundreds of thousands of women. I think my mom even had her hairstyle or something similar to it once.

Michael Jackson’s death was the most shocking of all. He was only 50 years old and seemed to be in good health after passing the series of tests and physicals for him to go back on tour in London. However he died of cardiac arrest yesterday.

Regardless of if you liked him or not, you have to admit he was very influential in the music and dance industry all around the world. I bet if aliens saw him, they probably tried to do the moonwalk too.

I loved Michael Jackson back in the day. I was too young to have been around when the Jackson Five were around, but I do remember when he was very popular in the 80s and 90s. I never had his CDs, but I do have his best hits on my iPod now.

My favorite songs by him were “Thriller” and “Billie Jean.” So, I have added the videos here for you to enjoy – it took me awhile to find ones that were embeddable!

I can’t leave out his dancing either, so here is a really good video I found on YouTube featuring Michael Jackson’s best dance moves.

Rest In Peace

Wishlist – Thank You!

I would like to thank the “Anonymous Giver” who purchased the video game The Witcher for me from my Amazon Wishlist. I don’t know who you are, but thank you! An early birthday gift is always fun to get. :)

I installed it and started to play it but my computer failed me – again. The intro video to the game was amazing and played like a good anime movie. However, once it got to actually playing and moving around my PC kept lagging and couldn’t handle it. I don’t know why either – it has the base requirements and my video card is up to date.

I do plan on getting a new PC within a year though, so hopefully I get to play the game soon!

Jon and Kate Gosselin – Enough is Enough!

When Jon and Kate Plus 8 first aired it was a nice show. I enjoyed watching it and actually liked the parents as much as the kids. The twin girls and the sextuplets were (and still are) adorable kids.

However, since the show originally aired the family changed – a lot. It wasn’t as visible the first few seasons as it has been since last season and especially this season (and all those scandalous rumors).

In the beginning they struggled and didn’t receive as many freebies. They had a nice middle-class house and now live in an over $1 million estate mansion. However, now they are getting up to $75,000 per episode in a 20-episode season on their TLC show totally $1.5 million a season. That doesn’t include Kate’s book deal or public speaking engagements. That also doesn’t include all of the freebies they get either. Who knows how much all of that totals?!?

As stated in US Weekly, here is a sample of just some of the swag they've scored:

- Free beds
- Front-loader washing machines
- New furniture
- Free solar panels for "Going Green" episode
- Clothes from Gymboree and Gap
- Mady & Cara birthday at American Girl Place (2 dolls and birthday package for 2 adults & 2 kids): $710
- Trip to Florida Key's for Jon's 30th birthday
-Tickets to Dutch Wonderland amusement park: $309.50
-1/2 an organic cow from Natural Acres Farm: $1,395.00
-Tickets to Philadelphia Zoo: $104.00
-Tickets to Walt Disney World: $654.00 per day
- Utah house rental (estimate: $5,000), ski lift tickets $72 for six days), ski school lessons ($140 per child)
- Upright piano, which they got rid of when they moved into their new $1.1 million home : $5,550-$6,350
- Violin: $100-$300
- Old house re-carperted
-Crayola Factory Tour: $90.00
-Teeth Whitening (for Jon & Kate): $1,310 (average price for 2 adults)
-Hair plugs (Jon): $5,200 (average cost)
-Sesame Street Place tickets: $509.50
-Day with Thomas the Tank Engine: $180.00
-Beach trip to North Carolina, house rental, Jeep tour
-Sight & Sound Christian theatre tickets: $236.00
-SkyBox at Phillies game
-LegoLand tickets: $550.00
-San Diego Zoo tickets: $278.00
-Grand Wailea Resort (Hawaii) for 2008 vow renewal: Suites range from $725-$1,080 per night.
-2 purebred German Shepherd puppies: $1,000-$3,000 per dog
- Please Touch Museum tickets: $150.00
- Giants grocery store: $5,000 in gift cards and a year's supply of diapers

Quite a change in lifestyle for them. As stated in that article, “Kate, who grew up in a trailer park and didn't go on her first airplane ride until her honeymoon to Disney World, now flies only first class for speaking engagements (mostly paid for by churches), sells signed photos of her kids for $20 a pop at appearances, and received a free tummy tuck after giving birth (Jon received a free hair transplant). A family source says while pregnant with the sextuplets, she grew "obsessed" with how many goodies the famed McCaughey septuplets received in 1997.

Jon, now a stay-at-home dad, was fired from his job at Style Craft Corp in 2004 after "spending much more time" on a "quest" for freebies than working, the company's owner, David Rothermel, tells Us. (Rothermel finally has spoken out after growing furious at the couple's well-worn claim that he was fired because the company didn't want to insure his family.)

"Instead of keeping the attention on their kids, they've let the attention turn to money and fame," says a family source of Jon and Kate.”

Money and fame does seem to be all Kate is after and Jon just wants to be out of the public eye. Is that a rational reality for them though?

US Weekly first spotted Jon Gosselin with Deanna Hummel – without his wedding ring – in his car outside Legends Lounge at 2AM on April 19, 2009. They also claim that five sources confirmed to them that Jon has had a 3-month affair with the 23 yr old schoolteacher.

Kate has also been rumored to be with her bodyguard. However, I am just not buying that story. In the interviews on the show this season it seems much more like she was the one trying to keep the marriage together and that Jon was the one who abandoned her.

Who is to blame? It isn’t our place to judge that. It is a very sad thing that has happened and they should have left the show to work on their marriage in my opinion. Free stuff and money should not have ranked higher on their priorities than working on their marriage.

Their kids should have mattered more to them. Also, their “schedule” of switching weeks in their house so the kids don’t have to move is not a good arrangement in my opinion either. How horrible will it be for the ex to have the new girlfriend or boyfriend over and staying in their room when they switch weeks? I just don’t get it.

TLC has decided that after the couple announced their separation and then divorce on last night’s show, that it will put the show on hiatus until August 8th.

They stated that, "TLC continues to support the Gosselin family and will work closely with them to determine the best way to continue to tell their story as they navigate through this difficult time," the statement read.”

Wouldn’t canceling the show and letting the family go through this without being filmed be what is best for everyone involved? These are not happy memories the kids will look back on and reflect anything positive from – why do that to them?

What are your thoughts on all of this?

Dental Health Fun

I’m not a big fan of the dentist. I’ve had a few rather bad experiences with the dentist which left me with a feeling this cartoon portrays rather well…

Not to mention the bright lights and feeling like you were just picked up by a not so friendly alien examining you on a UFO.

However, I’ve been in horrendous pain the past month with this toothache. It started about two months ago or so, maybe a little longer. I don’t have dental insurance or health care of any kind so I haven’t been going to the dentist like I should. My teeth aren’t horrible or anything (though I would like to get invsilgn one day) but I did know I needed a cavity filled where said pain was coming from.

So, I found a dental office nearby. The main dental doctor there has a lot of experience and has been published in medical journals and magazines and stuff, but his picture on the pamphlet they sent me cracked me up – he looked like Orson Hodge on Desperate Housewives and he was a dentist on the show too! Too funny.

Last week I went in for the appointment so they could find out what was wrong with the tooth or teeth. He didn’t really look like Orson, so at least I didn’t laugh in the office. The office is really nice though and the staff there is all very nice and helpful, so that is a good thing too.

What was the pain coming from? Well I had a filling that was loose and a cracked tooth (not fully cracked just a little) by where the filling was and 2 cavaties in that area on those 2 teeth. Ouch!

This morning I had it taken care of - finally. They had to take out the loose filling and then fix the other two. They had the Novocain that they rubbed on first (or whatever it is) and then the shot or shots of it. Luckily it worked really well and I didn’t feel anything. Not to say I didn’t grip on the armrest though – I always do that.

At least the dentist said that I shouldn’t need a root canal because it didn’t go to the root. If I waited 6 months more though I would have or needed to have them pulled. Eeek! I’m glad I went when I did (but really I should have gone sooner).

After I left there my Mom dragged me around the mall and then Hobby Lobby. I love to shop, but talking weird and feeling like my face looks funny from the Novocain Numb feeling is not so fun. Plus, by the time we left I was in enormous pain and really needed a pain killer.

I’m still on pain killers because it might take up to a week for the pain to go away fully. It shouldn’t take that long though. Anyways, if the post didn’t make full sense – that is why. If that is the case though, I hope you at least had a good laugh.

Dracula: Origin – Review

I purchased the video game Dracula: Origin awhile ago. I meant to write up a review of it too once I finished it, but I hadn’t had a chance to finish it until today. I love vampires and video games so this should have been a great game for me - but was it? Read on to find out!

As stated on their website: “Dracula: Origin is the exciting new adventure game from Frogwares studio, the developers of the popular Sherlock Holmes series on PC.

Having stylishly blended H.P. Lovecraft's Cthulhu mythology with Sherlock Holmes in Sherlock Holmes - The Awakened, Frogwares is once again venturing into a disturbing and fantastic universe, the world of the Prince of Darkness, a world full of Gothic adventure, romance, mystery and terror.

Dracula: Origin reveals the origins of the Dracula curse. Once the ardent defender of Christendom, Dracula loses his faith in God when he is abandoned by his one true love after she marries. Dracula then makes a pact with the Prince of Darkness, and becomes a vampire.

As time goes by, Dracula discovers the existence of a manuscript that allegedly details a rite which brings damned souls back from the beyond. On the body of one of his last victims, Dracula finds the photograph of a pretty young woman, Mina, who looks so disconcertingly like his beloved one; he determines that her body would be the perfect host for the damned soul of the woman he worshiped.

In Dracula: Origin, the player takes the role of the famous Professor Van Helsing whose life’s aim is the destruction of Dracula. Van Helsing must stop the vampire from finding the manuscript. A rich adventure that takes him from London to Egypt, Austria and through Carpathian Europe right into the terrifying home of the Dark Prince.

Mysteries, enigmas, love, thrills and vampires…. Dracula: Origin offers an adventure that advances the genre in leaps and bounds with superb graphics and a solid story line. Made up of a subtle graphic mix of detailed 2D scenery and full 3D characters with a powerful sound track, the game brings to life the imaginary world of the original literary work by Bram Stoker. This new adventure game makes full use of the traditional vampire stories (horror, love, blood, crucifixes, stakes, garlic...) and the genre’s terrifying, Gothic, romantic and fantastic atmosphere.”

I started playing the game shortly after I bought it. However, due to its anti-copying security code on it (or something) it prevented me to load it in my DVD drive. I could only use it in a plain CD-Rom drive. Sometime after my “Save” and the next time I tried playing it, it wouldn’t load. So, I put the game away and planned on playing it later once I figured this out. Well, to fix it I had to uninstall it (which thankfully didn’t delete my saved game) and play it from there. To risk having to do this again, I decided I’d play it in one run.

I’m pretty good at problem solving and games where you have to think some with. However, without the walkthrough guide for this game, I don’t think I would have been able to finish it – let alone have finished it today.

Playing the game and moving around is really easy. You can push the spacebar and everything you can interact with is highlighted. However, the mouse moved slow and my game was sometimes laggy – but that might be due to my PC.

The graphics were pretty good. Many of the landscapes and the characters looked like something from The Sims though – or maybe I just associated it like that because I’m an avid Sims player. The cutscenes weren’t very long though.

I liked that you got to move around London, Cairo, Vienna and Transylvania though. A change of scenery is always fun in games.

The story that the game is based around was good. However, the pace of the game (even with the guide) was quite slow. It is supposed to be an “Adventure” game and it just was too slow moving for me. There was no real fighting either, which I think they could have added in some parts at least.

Dracula: Origin also lacks what I bought it for: vampires. Sure, Dracula is in it and another female vampire – but that is it! No other vampires and none that are coming after you to suck your blood. Dracula is pretty much a pansy too – he even doesn’t come after you himself. He is too busy trying to have Mina (the girl you are trying to save) become his lover-reincarnated.

I rate it 2 drops of blood out of 5.

Flashback Friday – Spice Girls

The Spice Girls were my favorite girl group of the 90s. I loved dressing up with some of my friends like a Spice Girl – I was always Baby Spice. I loved singing along to their songs and I admit I had a few posters in my room of them too (I loved Big Bopper and all those magazines for posters back then).

When Halloween came around and my friends wanted to still go trick-or-treating I actually dressed up as Emma (Baby Spice). Big platform shoes, pleather jacket, babydoll dress, pigtails (I already had the blonde hair) – and I carried a microphone around with me too. It was fun.

They exploded onto the scene with their hit “Wannabe” which really reminds me of good times with friends in Jr. High and just being goofy. They were a girl group formed in the UK but they really conquered the world with their catchy pop music. Remember Spice World? Yeah, I saw the movie too. Ah, the good ole days when Victoria Beckham was Posh Spice and Mel B was Scary Spice.

Here is a video of their song “Wannabe.” Enjoy!

Did you like the Spice Girls? What was your favorite song? Favorite memory that one of their songs reminds you of?

Ballas-Hough – Best Bromance in Hollywood

Mark Ballas and Derek Hough are my favorite bromance in Hollywood. I just saw them perform on The Bonnie Hunt Show with their band "Ballas Hough Band" and they were actually pretty good. A catchy song, cute guys… not bad.

Plus, they are really good dancers. They are on Dancing With The Stars too for those that don’t know. I know what you’re thinking… they must be gay, right? Well, no. Or at least so they say. They are just bestfriends (like brothers) and even lived together for 10 years!

Here is the performance I just saw. It reminds me of my teeny-bopper days back in Jr. High. Enjoy!

What do you think of them? Who is your favorite bromance?

My Real Age

While watching Oprah Winfrey today, Dr. Oz was on dishing out more medical advice for us all to take in. I’ve read one of his books and even did the Real Age thing before years ago. I don’t remember what that number was. I probably didn’t answer everything honestly either though.

So, I signed up and took the FREE Real Age test again. This time being totally truthful and putting in everything I knew honestly. It was pretty laggy but that is probably because Oprah’s show just aired mentioning the website.

Waiting to see my “Real Age” was scary. I know I need to work on things to be healthier. A few times I thought of just exiting out of Firefox and not finishing it. However, I decided it is better to know.

Whew! I’m actually slightly younger than my real age. That is surprising. I’m thankful for that but I would like to improve that age to be even younger.

I really do want to lose weight, eat healthier and be healthier in general. I’m lucky that I don’t have high blood pressure, diabetes or high cholesterol – and I want to keep it that way.

My goal is to lose 10 lbs before my birthday this year (August 17th). I can so do it. I really just have to be motivated, focused and in control of what I eat (that is harder than it sounds for me and all emotional eaters – if you are one, you know what I mean here).

I’ll blog about my progress or lack thereof. It’ll help keep me honest. I also invite everyone who is interested to join me in taking their Real Age and posting it. If you also have something you want to work on to make your Real Age lower, or just be more healthy in general too join me on Spark People (link is in the column to the right) or on Real Age – both are free.

Thanks so much to Tee Tee at http://seeme-enjoyit.blogspot.com/ who awarded me with the Enchanted Blog Award!

True Blood: Season 2 – Episode 1 “Nothing But The Blood”

I’ve been looking forward to True Blood: Season 2 for awhile now. Needless to say I was counting down the hours until it was aired last night – until the power went out. We had a big thunderstorm here and the power was out for 5 or 6 hours. I was freaking – what if it didn’t get back on in time for True Blood?!? I need my True Blood as much as Eric and Bill need it to stay alive (well that and real blood). Luckily, it came back on with about an hour to spare. Whew!

Season 2 picks up right where Season 1 left off – the mystery black person with painted red toenails dead in the back of Andy Bellafleur’s car with Sookie and Tara screaming. From reading the books, I figured it was Lafayette. However, it wasn’t. It was the fake hoodoo priestess that gave Tara and her mom a fake exorcism in Season 1.

HBO has been straying from the book series since Season 1 and I really don’t mind at all. I think they make it more interesting. It also of course adds to more character storylines besides just Sookie and Bill.

Bill now has to take care of Jessica – the new vampire he made because of the one he killed last season to protect Sookie. Jessica is 17 and a brand new vampire – so think teenager gone bad. She seems annoyed by having to stay with Bill compared to with Eric and at Fangtasia – I would be too. Give me Eric any day over Bill!

This of course makes Sookie mad because Bill never told her about Jessica – or about him killing her uncle who molested her. Opps! She of course forgives him about both instances and they have sex and he bites her. Ah, just like old times!

Eric was in the episode for the last minute or two. Disappointing for me because I am a huge Eric fan. But at least he was in the episode. He and his vampires were actually the ones holding Lafayette and other humans hostage who have done “crimes against vampires.”

Sam remembers MaryAnn from when he was a teenager and just found out about his shapeshifting abilities. He stole from MaryAnn and had sex with her and left. Now, she wants something from him – but not money.

Tara is still staying with MaryAnn Forester (who is a maenad in the book series). However, why is she taking such concern with Tara? And who is that black guy she is getting involved with now who is also at MaryAnn’s mansion? I’m suspicious.

Jason was visited with someone from The Fellowship of the Sun (the anti-vampire church) while he was accused of the murders last season. This season, he will be getting more involved with that church. Bad Jason! You need to be spanked – and not in a way you’d like!

Here is a new trailer I found for more of what will come on True Blood Season 2…

Weekend Stuff and Blogger Issues

Blogger Reading List - Not Working Right?
Is anybody else having a problem with their Blogger Reading List not working right? It isn't showing all of the blogs I follow new posts. How can I fix this?

Giveaway
Thanks to everyone who entered my Giveaway so far! If you haven't yet, go ahead and enter. I'm taking entries until July 1, 2009.

Tooth Pain
My teeth (well some of them) are still in horrible pain. I have a dentist appointment this week. Hopefully they'll fix it and I can go back to eating and drinking like normal again without painkillers. I couldn't go ghost hunting today because of the pain and painkillers = no driving = no investigating.

True Blood
I finished watching Season 1 on DVD - I LOVED IT! If I'm up for it, I'm going to write a review. I'm also extremely excited that Season 2 starts tomorrow on HBO - 9EST. I'm also very happy that the vampire Eric will be in more of this season - he is so hot!

Kristen Stewart’s Mullet

Wow. Check out these pictures of Kristen Stewart’s new haircut. I pray that she is only sporting this look for a movie she is shooting that is not Twilight related. It seriously looks like she just took scissors to it herself while she was high (because we all know she loves the marijuana).

What do you think?

What A Beautiful Day

Today I was in a picture taking mood. Here are some of the pictures I took while outside…

This was taken from the porch.

Close up of the orange flower. Not sure what these are, lilies of some sort?

Blue hydrangeas. We have quite a few of these that have gotten quite big all along our wrap-around porch.

This is supposed to be a pink hydrangea but it is coming in a purple-pink now.

These are the plants I planted on Earth Day that made it so far. They were replanted into these pots and most are doing okay now. The survivors include: tomato plants, lavender (planted last year and came back), delphinium, gyspophilia, alysium, marigolds and a few others not pictured here.
